Christine Passig
Storytelling in Song
A Musical Childhood
Hailing from St. Paul, MN, Christine Passig grew up surrounded by music. With parents who were passionate musicians, she absorbed the harmonies of Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles, which sparked her love for layered vocals and evocative storytelling. Choirs and jazz band during high school and college helped shape her dynamic sound, blending expressive vocals with skilled piano work.
Collaborations and Studio Work
Christine has lent her talents to a variety of Twin Cities projects, collaborating with musicians like Katia Cardenas and The Shaw Brothers, and performing in the Garth Brooks tribute show World According to Garth. She participates in Christmas performances with Gabby Road Studios and contributes as a studio musician at Greg Huberty Productions (St. Cloud, MN), providing keys and vocals for artists such as Leavin Page Town, Dan Lepien, and Jesse Wilson. Her voice has also been featured in commercial projects with Creative Radio Jingles, including the jingle for Coborn’s grocery stores.
Performing Across Genres
As a performer and member of the west metro MN band JustUs, Christine continues to craft music that blends dynamic piano, soulful vocals, and compelling melodies. Her sound spans country, gospel, and beyond, reflecting her versatility and commitment to authentic musical expression.
Live Music for Weddings and Events
Christine specializes in creating unforgettable experiences for private events and weddings. She works closely with couples, wedding planners, officiants, and coordinators to select the perfect songs for ceremonies, while also providing instrumental cocktail music and lively entertainment for receptions. From birthdays and retirement parties to fundraising events, Christine brings a personal and memorable musical touch to every occasion.
Featured Song: “How Strong”
One song that especially captures Christine’s spirit is her original “How Strong”. It comes straight from the center of her faith, the same faith that has carried her through times of trouble, doubt, suffering, and joy. She wrote it for her church, hoping it would be both singable and memorable, the kind of song that stays with you after the final chord. It’s a simple, powerful reminder of where real strength comes from.
